Malvasia production areas from all around the Mediterranean will be with us, participating in the 1st Malvasia Wine Exhibition in Monemvasia, while the international Malvasia Myth Network, established in Monemvasia in 2023, is hosted and expanded with the inclusion of new areas, in a festive ceremony.

Leading international wine personalities will celebrate with us, such as Beth Willard, Igor Luković, Cesar Soler, Ivan Marić, Meropi Papadopoulou and Caroline Gilby MW (Master of Wine, UK), who will implement the Malvasia wine masterclass.

The focus of the festival is the cultural heritage of Malvasia and the upcoming inscription of “Sun-dried Malvasia Wine” in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Greece (process in final stage). Malvasia wine and its culture become the foundations for the development of international extroversion, cooperation, scientific research and artistic activity, with inspiration from the past for cultural creation in the present.
