Monemvasia: Gastronomic destinations

Wine is an integral part of the gastronomy and the taste of any place, which it complements and highlights. As part of the Malvasia Festival Monemvasia, there will be a presentation of the “Gastronomic Destinations” project and the actions implemented for the Gastronomic Community of Monemvasia, GreekGastronomyGuide.gr/Monemvasia, which is a basic browsing tool for travelers with culinary concerns. The digital guide will be presented by the journalist and author George Pittas, who aims to highlight the culinary identity of each place, through a holistic, mainly human-centered approach.

The “Gastronomic Destinations” project of the local LEADER/CLLD program of Parnonas S.A. is implemented by the “Lifelong Learning Center Educational & Consulting Services DIASTASSI S.A.”, for the Monemvasia area and is part of Measure 19, Sub-Measure 19.2 “Local Development with the Initiative of Local Communities, (TAPToK)” of the “2014-2020 Rural Development Program”.
